TRAINING AND DOCTRINE COMMANDHELD NIGERIAN ARMY DAY CELEBRATION2022 INTERDENOMINATIONAL SERVICE IN MINNA MILITARY CANTONMENT

In line with the programmes lined up for NADCEL 2022, Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA) observed the Inter-Denominational Service for the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) 2022. The Inter-Denominational Church Service was conducted at St Mary Catholic Church (RC), Minna Military Cantonment (MMC) on Sunday, 3 July 2022. The representative of the Commander TRADOC NA, Brig Gen CA Atakiled other Christian faithfuls to observe the inter denominational church service. During the service, he delivered the Goodwill Message of the Chief of Army Staff on behalf of the Commander.

The Officiating Chaplain, Lt Col BA Adegoke preached on the theme“Promoting Unity Through Religious Co-existence”.During his sermon, he emphasised that religious harmony and peaceful coexistence were necessary prerequisites for prevalence of peace and development in any society.He urged the Christian faithfuls to be their brother’s/sister’s keepers and embrace the spirit of love and forgiveness in their daily affairs. Thereafter, he prayed for the peace and unity of the country, as well as the repose and eternal rest for the fallen heroes.

Present at the service were, the Representative of the Commander TRADOC NA, Brig Gen CA Ataki, Brig Gen A Israel, Brig Gen ET Essien, Brig Gen WM Dangana, senior officers, officers and soldiers of MMC. Families and corps members were also in attendance.
