Captain-Major Practical Promotion Examination

The purpose of the Lieutenant-Captain Practical promotion Examination (LCPPE) is to assess the professional efficiency of officers of the rank of lieutenant in the command and tactical handling of a platoon up to company level. The objectives of the examination are as follows:

 

Advising the Commander on training support and technology

Improve the knowledge of the young officers on the military profession.

Assist the NA in their career planning

Stimulate spirit of healthy competition with officers' peers

Assess knowledge on land and tactical employment of a mechanized platoon up to combat team level
