TRADOC NA HOLDS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE

Training and Doctrine Command Nigeria Army (TRADOC NA) held a Study Period facilitated by the Department of Research and Development. The Study Period was geared towards providing solutions to contemporary challenges in the country through the use of research and development.

Declaring the Conference opened on Monday, 21 November 2022 at the TRADOC NA Auditorium, the representative of the Commander TRADOC, Brigadier General A Israel said most of the inventions and patent the world enjoys can be ascribed to the research interventions carried out by the military, most especially in the areas of communication and engineering. He therefore implored participants to listen and contribute meaningful on ways to improve Research and Development efforts of the Nigerian Army.

The theme of the Study Period was "Enhancing Nigerian Army Successes Through Research and Development Efforts in a Joint Environment". The study period featured intellectual discourse by military experts and academicians from civil institutions which dwelled on topical issues with emphasis on the implications and way forward in Nigeria. In attendance were the Chief of Research Development Test and Evaluation, Maj Gen S Ibrahim, Director Army Training Support Center, Brig Gen A Israel, Directors, Deputy Directors of the Command, Officers, soldiers and Corps members. Highlight of the events was the Presentation of Souvenirs and group photograph.
